About Me
I'll be the first to admit that four years ago, I was running from my future. I barely thought about college, avoided conversations about it, and when I finally enrolled at DePaul after a cold, solo self-tour, I didn't know if it was the right decision and honestly, I didn't care enough to find out.
The summer before freshman year was one of the hardest of my life. I was hit with anxiety I didn't have a name for yet, and the idea of leaving home felt impossible. But I packed my bags anyway and moved to Chicago. On my first day at DePaul, a professor asked our class how we were feeling and shared a time he felt just as lost. It was the first time I realized I wasn't alone, and something shifted.
That moment set the tone for everything that followed. I'm now finishing my final quarter as a Public Relations and Advertising major, and I've never been more confident in who I am or where I'm headed. What started as a reluctant leap became the foundation for everything I'm proud of: interning at a women-run boutique PR agency in Chicago, studying abroad in Hungary, traveling across Europe, and co-founding The Buzz Hub, DePaul's first student-led PR and advertising agency, where I serve as co-president and work with real clients across a range of industries.
Building something from the ground up taught me more about strategy, leadership, and authentic communication than any classroom could on its own. PR isn't just what I'm studying, it's where my love of storytelling lives. I know what it feels like to need a push before stepping into your full potential, and I bring that understanding to every brand I work with. Sometimes the best stories just need someone willing to tell them.
